Linear Encoders

ANALOGUE

A range of potentiometric encoders which contain a resistive element of 5 or 10K depending upon the stroke, some models have available an output option of 0-10 Volt or 4 to 20ma. Due to the nature of their construction they provide an absolute reading of the stroke position at all times even in the event of a power failure.

ANALOGUE METERS

A number of panel meters designed for use with the analogue encoders and provide a numerical display of the current position and user settable set points with relay output for integration into other control equipment.

INCREMENTAL

There are two different mechanical types in the MLS product range of incremental encoders; the first two are flexible systems that can be used for any stroke length.

The other incremental encoder products in the range are based on an aluminium extrusion which houses both the magnetic strip and the reading head, thus eliminating the mechanical work necessary for the first two products.

LINEAR TO ROTARY

These products provide a means for converting linear movement into a rotary motion, so that incremental or absolute multi-turn encoders can be used to mount on the device to supply the measurement readings.
