IECEx Incremental Encoder for Zone 1 & 21 (Oil+Gas) area, RS422 (TTL) output, 10mm solid shaft

A heavy-duty incremental rotary encoder from POSITAL's IXARC range, the UCE-IPT00-XXXXX-F10S-HFG is designed specifically for deployments in hazardous areas in oil and gas applications. It is appropriate for gas and dust explosion settings where standard encoders cannot be used because it has IECEx certification for Zones 1 and 21. The device may be fully programmed using POSITAL's UBIFAST configuration tool, which allows customers to adjust the output type, counting direction, and pulses per revolution to suit the application without requiring a separate part number for each configuration. It is designed to withstand the vibration, shock, and environmental exposure common to upstream and midstream oil and gas equipment. It is housed in a sturdy aluminium housing with an IP66/IP67 rating and a broad operating range of -40°C to +70°C.
