Description

Built around a blind hollow shaft that attaches directly into a motor or drive shaft without the need for a coupling, the UCF-IPT00-XXXXX-HFSS-H3E is a small incremental encoder for IECEx Zone 2 and 22 hazardous sites. Similar to the HTR0 model, but with a bigger ø15 mm shaft, RS422 (TTL) output, and complete IP67 protection on both shaft and housing, it's an excellent fit for situations requiring tighter sealing or a wider shaft bore. PPR, output type, and counting orientation may all be changed using POSITAL's UBIFAST tool, and the steel enclosure has cathodic corrosion protection rated for more than 720 hours of salt spray resistance.
