Explosion Protected, IECEx/ATEX Zone 1, Magnetic Hollow Shaft Mount Encoder, 1" to 1 1/8"

Avtron's explosion-protected magnetic encoder, the M6C, is designed for harsh mill-duty applications, especially oil and gas drilling rigs. Simply fasten the encoder on the shaft and lock the threaded rod torque arm to mount it directly on motor or load shafts ranging from 1" to 1 1/8". No flanges, reducers, couplings, or other hardware are needed. It is an upgraded version of the original M6 that has both ATEX Zone 1 and IECEx certification, allowing it to be installed directly in dangerous areas without the need for an isolator or barrier. Its robust magnetic sensor and solid metal rotor prevent optical disc encoder fragility, and its wire protection system is designed to withstand extended cable drives and miswiring without causing harm.
