For dependable emergency stop and safety gate monitoring across machines, plants and lift applications, the Motrona SRC30/EL is a small, multipurpose safety relay. It is specifically designed for lift safety circuits and general industrial machine guarding, and it is certified to EN 81-20 and EN 81-50.
The relay can be wired for single-channel or dual-channel operation to accommodate a variety of safety topologies. It offers three non-delayed (instantaneous) safety contacts and one non-delayed auxiliary signalling contact. It is an adaptable option for a variety of input devices since it connects directly to emergency stop buttons, mechanical safety switches, non-contact safety switches, and safety components with OSSD outputs.
Downstream contactors or extension modules are supported by built-in feedback loop monitoring, and continuous circuit integrity is ensured by cyclical output contact monitoring, cross-circuit detection, and earth fault monitoring. Depending on the needs of the application, the device offers both automatic and manual start modes, and LED indications make power and switching status easily visible at a glance.
The SRC30/EL, which operates from a 24 VDC supply and has contact ratings up to 250 V AC/8 A for resistive loads on its safety contacts, is rated up to PL e, SIL 3, category 4 (per EN ISO 13849-1, EN IEC 62061, and EN 61508). It provides high-integrity safety performance in a small DIN-rail housing (IP20, ~150 g).
