Motrona signal conditioners enable smooth communication from encoders to PLC systems by providing:

  • Converting Analog Signal to Digital Signal: taking an analog 4-20mA or 1-10V signal and converting it to a digital signal for PLC.
  • Amplifying Weak Signals: Encoders produce lower voltage signals. Signal conditioners can amplify these signals ahead of conversion to communicate with displays and PLCs.
  • Cleaning Signals: Motrona signal conditioners can remove corrupt signals, ensuring your system isn’t responding to electrical interference. 
  • Isolation: Motrona signal conditioners can insulate the signal from voltage spikes and ground loops.
  • Distribution: In some cases, multiple aspects of the production sequence require feedback from encoders. The Motrona signal conditioners can support these applications by splitting a signal and enabling the correct distribution.
